The ASH annual meeting is the world's largest and most comprehensive hematology event of the year. With hundreds of sessions on the hottest trends in hematology, ASH offers multiple ways for attendees to find exactly what they are looking for.

SOHO 2024 Annual Meeting

The twelfth annual meeting of the Society of Hematologic Oncology (SOHO 2024) is scheduled for September 4-7, 2024 at the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston, Texas. As a semi-hybrid event, SOHO 2024 offers both in-person and virtual participation.

SOHO is the premier meeting that focuses specifically on new advances and practical clinical applications in the field of hematologic malignancies. The speakers are a multidisciplinary group of internationally recognized experts that represent the spectrum of these diseases. 

This year, more than 3,800 physicians, nurses and related healthcare specialists are expected to participate in the 3.5-day meeting and participate in several unique educational formats including General Sessions.

The theme of SOHO 2024 is “Translating Knowledge Worldwide” as it relates to the field of hematologic oncology. Topics will cover the latest advances in the pathophysiology and therapy of: leukemias, lymphomas, myeloma, myelodysplastic neoplasms, myeloproliferative neoplasms, related malignancies and exciting developments in cellular therapy.

The Festival of Genomics & Biodata 2024

The Festival of Genomics & Biodata 2024, held on June 12-13 at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center, was a pivotal event that brought together professionals from the scientific, clinical, and pharmaceutical sectors. Over two days, the festival featured seven theatres of content, including discussions on AI, cancer genomics, drug discovery, and cutting-edge genomic technologies. With more than 150 speakers and a vibrant exhibition floor, attendees had the opportunity to engage in workshops, roundtable discussions, and speed networking sessions, all aimed at advancing genomics and biodata research. This year’s event emphasized the integration of genomics into clinical practice and drug development, ensuring that participants left with new insights and connections to drive their work forward. The festival's unique format, which included free access for most attendees, underscored its commitment to making genomic advances accessible and impactful across the global community.

2024 ASCO Annual Meeting

The 2024 ASCO Annual Meeting, held from May 31 to June 4 in Chicago, Illinois, brought together oncology professionals from around the world to discuss the latest advancements in cancer treatment and research. The conference featured groundbreaking presentations across various fields, including the introduction of new standards of care for multiple cancer types. Key highlights included the NADINA trial, which demonstrated a significant improvement in outcomes for melanoma patients through preoperative immunotherapy, and the ongoing evolution of tumor-infiltrating lymphocyte (TIL) therapy. Additionally, innovative approaches in immunotherapy, such as the combination of LAG-3 and PD-1 inhibitors, showcased the ongoing efforts to enhance treatment efficacy while minimizing toxicity.
